Outreach Activities

Throughout my time here at Clemson, I have had the privilege of being part of different groups on campus that have given me various opportunities for personal growth and development. Below you will find a brief snapshot of my life outside the classroom.

Chi Omega Fraternity

As a member of the Psi Kappa Chapter of the world's largest female fraternal organization, Chi Omega, I have been given the opportunity to give to others and grow so much as a woman throughout these past four years. Chi Omega's founding purposes are Friendship, Personal Integrity, Service to Others, Academic Excellence, Community Involvement, and Personal/Career Development. Volunteering consistently with our organization's philanthropy Make-A-Wish has been such a rewarding experience I hope to continue being a part of post-college.

French Professional Society

The FPS here at Clemson is a group of dedicated students studying the French language and culture. In meetings organized by the society's leadership board of students, we hear from various speakers such as alumni and business professionals, who aim to inspire students by sharing their experiences whether at Clemson, abroad, or in the corporate world. The Clemson FPS has been a great way for me to network with people who have similar interests and learn about so many different opportunities.

Women in Business

Being a member of Clemson's all-female organization, Women in Business has been such an enriching experience. As a double major in LAIB and Management, being part of this organization has given me such great insight into what it is like being a female in the corporate world. The group's goal is to further women's knowledge on how to succeed as professionals by exposing more undergraduate females to women professionals. With different speakers each week, I have been given the opportunity to hear from so many empowered females in the workforce.

Clemson Honors College

Clemson Honors College has allowed me to reach my full potential as a student through specialized courses in various subjects. In order to be an active member of the Honors College, students must maintain a 3.2 GPA and enroll in at least one Honors course per semester. Course offerings range from Honors sections in general education and major-required courses to Honors Seminar courses where small groups discuss a multitude of topics at a high academic level. Being in the Honors College has taken my education to the next level and I am extremely proud of my accomplishments.
